ALPS

It doesn’t matter whether a student is in Year 7 or in Year 13: everybody needs help at some time or other.

There are many different reasons why students may be finding it difficult to learn or concentrate in class. As well as being supported by their tutor and Head of Year, they may also receive support from our Alternative Learning Programme Support (ALPS) Team, based in the ALPS Centre. The ALPS Centre is a hub for academic, behavioural, emotional and social support, and incorporates the needs of those students with special educational needs as well as others who are struggling to maintain a full-time timetable.
