We encourage the development of the school as a centre of learning and leisure for the whole community. The following are examples of the ways in which we try to fulfil this aim:
THE EYNSHAM PARTNERSHIP OF SCHOOLS
The Eynsham Partnership is comprised of the following schools, serving a rural area between Oxford and Witney:
- Bartholomew School, Eynsham (Secondary)
- Eynsham Community Primary School
- Freeland C.of E. Primary School
- Hanborough Manor C of E Primary School, Long Hanborough
- St Peter's C. of E. Primary School, Cassington
- Standlake C. of E. Primary School
- Stanton Harcourt C. of E. Primary School
For many years these schools have worked closely together for the benefit of all young people in the area. In the early years of the partnership, this co-operation was exemplified by shared teaching and observation, shared premises and shared aims and objectives. Although the details of co-operation have evolved gradually, particularly to reflect the two specialisms which Bartholomew is able to share with its partnership schools, the close relationship between schools and their Headteachers has remained positive and stable.
