The School was recently contacted by a local resident who wished to draw attention to some iron work that had been added to the old school gates at the front of school in the 1950s. We conducted some research and found that this had been part of the Festival of Britain festivities in 1951. Our site team have spent a little time restoring the iron work and it has been returned to the gates at the front of school. Do take a look next time you are passing!
