Sixth Form Admissions 2026
WELCOME TO BARTHOLOMEW SCHOOL SIXTH FORM
We are delighted that you are considering applying for entry to the Sixth Form at Bartholomew School. We hope that the information here, including our Sixth Form Open Evening film and prospectus, will give you a clear sense of what school life is like here and inspire you to apply to join us in September 2026.
The Sixth Form you join should be a supportive stepping-stone to a variety of future possibilities, including training, employment, further education, or university. It should offer you an exciting and challenging range of academic and extracurricular opportunities. At Bartholomew School, we are proud to provide you with an environment in which all of this can happen, with our core aim being to support you in achieving the success you need to pursue your chosen goals.
If you were unable to attend our Sixth Form Open Evening, please take a moment to watch our short film featuring Mrs von der Osten, Deputy Headteacher & Director of Sixth Form, together with our Student Presidents. The film provides an overview of Sixth Form life at Bartholomew School, including our ethos, curriculum and the many opportunities available to our students. We hope it offers a helpful introduction as you explore your post-16 options, and we warmly invite you to explore our Sixth Form Admissions page for full details about our courses, entrance requirements, subject options grid and application process.
Please take some time to explore the information on this page, and if you have any questions, we encourage you to contact us using the enquiry form below. You are also very welcome to get in touch if you were unable to attend our Open Evening and would like to arrange a tour of the School.Sixth Form Prospectus 2026

Options Grid
Most students will select 3 A Level or BTEC courses from the grid below when making their Sixth Form application.
Please note that students will also take an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) or Core Maths, both of which are worth half an A Level. These courses do not need to be confirmed at this stage but will be agreed with students in September.
We understand that some students may change their mind over the year about their options so please rest assured that there will be opportunities to update choices if students wish to. Further information to help you with this part of your application appears within the application form.
