This year saw Bartholomew's first-ever girls' hardball cricket team compete in the inaugural Barclays Knight-Stokes Cup - and what a debut season it was! The team produced an outstanding series of performances to be crowned Oxfordshire County Champions, marking a fantastic milestone for girls' cricket at the school.

There were some exceptional individual performances throughout the competition, including Aysha M and Freya M, who both scored unbeaten half-centuries (50*), Aurora S, who narrowly missed out with an impressive 49, and outstanding bowling performances from Annie T (3–14), Abi C (3–14) and Manon C (3–33).

A huge thank you to Eynsham Cricket Club for generously providing spare kit to support the team throughout the competition, and congratulations to all of the students involved for their commitment, teamwork and sporting excellence. We look forward to seeing girls' cricket continue to grow at Bartholomew in the years ahead.
